Meshuggah
Swedish metal act Meshuggah brought the hammer down on San Francisco’s Masonic Auditorium in front of a packed house that no doubt left plenty of sore necks at work the following Wednesday morning. Thanks to supporting acts Carcass and Cannibal Corpse, the fans arrived early and stayed energetic through the evening of pummeling metal that was replete with a head-banging challenge by Cannibal Corpse vocalist ‘Corpsegrinder’ and enough strobes and lasers to set off a roomful of seizures. Extreme metal is alive and well in the Bay Area!
